Friend Poem Print

A witty and affectionate friendship poem. All about friends - the fabulous female ones, that is! This funny, heartfelt friend print makes the perfect gift for a best friend - whether it's her birthday, christmas, or a special occasion like being a bridesmaid.

Written by Bespoke Verse poet Joanna Miller, this poem began as a gift for her sister. It led to Bespoke Verse's range of 'What is a...?' poems that have featured in magazines such as VOGUE and Easy Living.

Whether she's a listening ear, a tireless shopper or a birthday surpriser, everyone will recognise the bond described in 'What is a Friend?'

The poem is printed on the highest quality card which measures H30 x W21cm (A4). It is unframed and presented smartly in cellophane with backing board behind.  The background colour is taupe.

The text reads:

What is a Friend?

A winer, a diner, an outfit designer

A ringer, a bringer, a karaoke singer

A meeter, a greeter, a chocolate eater

A debater, relater, a smile reinstater.

A lift provider, an on-your-sider

A diva, a bopper, a tireless shopper

A lender, a sender, a book recommender

A snorter, a sniggerer, infectious giggler.

A baker, a caker, a mate mickey-taker

An ally, a sister, a gentle arm twister

A lip-gloss provider, a secret confider

A thinker, a winker, a latte drinker.

A texter, a writer, a party inviter

A colleague, a carer, a problem-sharer

A cocktail blender & cheeky rule bender

A gossipy chatterer, forgiver & flatterer.

A handbag borrower, a ring-tomorrower

A holiday planner, a poolside tanner (line 18)

A ‘stop for a cuppa’, a date fixer-upper

A free babysitter & fellow keep-fitter. (line 20)

A listening ear, a loyal volunteer

A welcome inquisitor, spare bed visitor

A misser, a kisser, a cinema hisser

A fellow fat-fighter, a stay late at nighter

A birthday surpriser & cherished adviser

A laugher, a kidder, anxiety ridder...
